What is the energy-saving LED display?

Reducing energy consumption and environmental protection is an important current development direction of the LED display industry. The LED display has energy-saving characteristics, which is not only more environmentally friendly, but also enhances its performance. At present, energy-saving LED displays are widely used as outdoor led sign products and become one of the important selection indicators for customers.

How to solve the heat dissipation problem of LED display, improving the heat dissipation capacity of the LED display?

We can follow the two points:

1. Led cabinet design

We can build aluminum cabinet. compared with iron cabinet, aluminum cabinet is not only lighter and thinner, but also has better heat dissipation performance. Also we can paint the cabinet light color to reflect the sunlight to reduce heat generation. In order to achieve the cooling effect and accelerate the air circulation in the led cabinet, we not only need to reasonably add air inlets and outlets to the cabinet, but also add fans when necessary. Of course, adding too many fans will make the cabinet bulky and is not environmentally friendly. For better heat dissipation, we can try our best to separate more modules from the power box and expose them to the air instead of being in a closed space. 

2. Heat-producing electronic components

The main heat-generating components of the LED display are led lamps and power supplies. 

Compared with SMD lamps , DIP lamps has bigger led chip and longer pin for better heat dissipation. At the same time, under the same brightness, the current used by DIP is very small and generates less heat. 

And we choose the corresponding power supplies according to the power requirement of the LED display. A large amount of heat will be generated when the power supply is working. High heat will not only put pressure on the power supply, but also cause damage to other components.

It is very important to choose an efficient conversion power supply. At the same time, the power supply structure should be conducive to heat dissipation. Whether it is adding a fan or using a hollow design, we will provide different solutions according to different LED display requirements.
