6 tips to maintain outdoor LED videowall and indoor LED display for long time use

It is proved that if LED display didn’t properly, it would shorten the service life period. How to maintain the LED display is as same important as how to choose a durable LED display. Here is 6 tips to maintain the LED display for long time use.

1. Check the LED display circuit and switch, keep the switch dry to avoid leakage and electric shock accidents.

2. We can use air conditioner or put a desiccant to dehumidify the LED display. Any other physically ways which could absorb moisture, keep the display dry and prevent it from getting damp.

3. During the rainy season, LED screen needs to be used at least once a week, and each time at least 2 hours.

4. LED display needs to be properly ventilated, it can quickly evaporate the water vapor which attached on the display and reduce the humidity of the indoor environment. But this is not suitable in windless and wet weather. Otherwise, it would increase indoor humidity.

5. The environment of outdoor LED display is more complicated than indoor. it is inevitable to have the water seepage problem. Except the above measures, it is also necessary to have regular check whether the waterproof rubber ring of the box body is aging, deformed, or incomplete; whether the screws or locks of the sealed box body are loose or the pressure is not enough.

6. If the LED display is not used for a long time, it should be frequently powered on for maintenance and debugging. Whether it is an indoor LED display or an outdoor LED display, if it is not used for a long time, dead dots may appear when it is turned on again. Therefore, it is necessary to turn on the power and light up the screen for debugging.
